A useful fit for

A current hundred-pound requirement with confirmed knurled grip measurements and all capacity stages supplied.

The main tradeoff

The final official stage leaves no further capacity upgrade. Full loaded length is 19.21 inches and the ladder still has five-pound gaps.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Can I require one hundred pounds per hand and a knurled grip?

Yes. This specific pair supplies the final Stage 4 as well as the earlier stages.

Can I require another supported capacity upgrade beyond this package?

No. Stage 4 is the final documented Pro 100 EXP capacity stage. Optional barbell attachments do not increase its dumbbell maximum.

Will the fully loaded dumbbell meet an eighteen-inch maximum length?

No. The exact full-system specification lists 19.21 inches in length.

The complete knurled Pro 100 EXP pair is the residential system with all four stages supplied. It addresses a real one-hundred-pound requirement without leaving another capacity kit on the shopping list. That convenience does not eliminate the normal selector checks, the separate micro-weight operation, or the need to allow space for a long fully loaded dumbbell.

The full hundred pounds is included here

The current US Knurled / 100 LBS option is SKU 750-00331-00. It is sold as a pair and includes Stages 2, 3 and 4 around the starting Stage 1 set. The owner's manual identifies the final stage as the expansion from eighty to one hundred pounds per hand. Check that all four stages are included: smaller packages carrying the same Pro 100 EXP family name have lower supplied ceilings.

At the other end of the range, removing both 2.5-pound micro weights produces the five-pound handle. One micro weight gives 7.5 pounds and both give ten. Selected plates then increase the load. The upper published sequence includes 85, 87.5, 90, 95, 97.5 and 100 pounds. There are five-pound gaps as well as smaller changes, so neither 92.5 pounds nor a complete ladder of every 2.5-pound value is established.

What you hold and what you move

The knurled version has a stainless steel grip specified at 38 mm diameter and 4.88 inches long. That is a substantial grip compared with the 32 mm Elite USA 90. The Elite stops at ninety pounds per hand, whereas this package reaches one hundred. Decide whether the extra ten pounds addresses a real exercise requirement before accepting a different handle and overall geometry for it.

The magnetic pin selects the nested plates, while the handle's internal micro weights provide a second adjustment. A small reduction may therefore take more steps than moving the pin alone. The Auto Lock lever must be closed when the micro weights are retained. This is a mechanical system to understand and inspect, not an automatic safeguard against an incorrect selection.

Measure for the actual loaded size

The current full-system specification lists 19.21 inches long, 7.63 inches wide and 7.72 inches high. Those are dumbbell dimensions, not a complete station or a claim about every optional stand. Leave additional access for reaching the pin, lifting the handle and returning it in a straight line. A paper outline of those measurements can help you judge a planned storage area without pretending it predicts hand comfort.

The manual cautions that sideways removal can jam the nest. It also calls for lifting the selected assembly a short distance and visually confirming engagement before proceeding. If the weights are jammed or the pin is not properly located, return the handle and correct the setup. Do not turn an awkward return path into a repeated workaround.

A complete system still has ownership limits

Stage 4 is the final official Pro 100 EXP expansion. There is no further capacity upgrade credited to this package. Compatible Pro 100 barbell or kettlebell attachments are separate purchases that change the tool format; they do not raise the dumbbell's documented maximum. The expansion kits are also model-specific and cannot be transferred to another PowerBlock family merely because its plates look similar.

Inspect the selector, magnetic blocks, attached tether and hardware before use. Clean gently with a microfiber cloth and warm water, and follow the maintenance schedule. The manual prohibits dropping or striking the dumbbells together and identifies dropping as a warranty exclusion. These restrictions remain relevant at the highest load; a urethane coating is not a drop rating.

Choose it for a current heavy requirement

Buy the complete knurled pair when you need the full range now, prefer textured metal and can accommodate the loaded length. The eighty-pound version is a useful comparison if the final stage would rarely be selected. A TPR-equipped hundred-pound package changes the grip preference but not the load ceiling. Check exact model and package identity, particularly with used listings: the separate Commercial Pro 100 five-pound-handle recall is not a substitute for reading the residential EXP label and current safety information.
